Take some time out to breathe, taste and get body connected during this belly calming session of meditation – and hot chocolate!

This workshop is a gentle session focussed on soothing your body and helping you feel connected with your senses. It’s very easy to get swept up in the busyness of life so this is an opportunity to slow down. Chocolate is a beautiful ingredient full of aromas and warming it up into a magical concoction is a tasty way to experience the soothing benefits of meditation and mindful awareness.

Things to remember

The meditation is done seated on chairs (and I'll also bring along a few floor cushions if you would like to try these). If you prefer, you can also bring your yoga mat to sit on or lie down for the final section.

A perfect way to spend your weekend morning, especially if you're very busy Monday to Friday. The most delicious hot chocolate I've ever tasted accompanied by soothing voice of Meredith guiding the meditation. I totally recommend it.

Meredith was absolutely lovely and guided us through every step of the session. The meditation exercises and techniques are really useful to have as tools in every day life; there’s also the benefit of hearing what other group members felt and how what their techniques and tips are. Really recommend (and the chocolate is lovely too!)

Food At Heart workshops involve all the senses and explore how you can use this sensory understanding in tasting and living. The sessions bring together a healthy mixture of fun and focus.

Food At Heart events also place much emphasis on the sustainable elements of food, using seasonal and organic ingredients wherever possible, with remarkable outcomes!
