What happens in this class?

Mixed ability Hatha yoga class every Friday from 6pm until 7:30pm

Hatha yoga combines yoga postures with breathing and meditation.  The class is designed to improve strength and flexibility, and the meditation followed by a final relaxation helps to relax the mind. People say it is a challenging class, but they keep coming back for more.

Doors open at 5:30pm for a quiet sit and stretch, or simply relax and unwind

I already attend a Hatha Yoga class every week but wanted to add another one. I found David's class more challenging but he also shows alternatives and comes amongst the class to show the poses. The class is relaxed and friendly, great way to end the week or start the weekend. Loved It!

I’m new to yoga but wanted to try to build some strength as well as improve my general wellbeing. I was made to feel very welcome and the class is suitable for a mix of abilities with really clear instruction. I love the meditation at the end of the session and it’s such a great way to end the week and start the weekend!

Being a newbie to yoga it was great to be in the relaxed friendly class. Whilst it was hard work at times (for me anyway) David's encouraging and down to earth approach was really helpful. I have already booked my next class.

David AKA Yoga Dave – look at him, a man in control of his own yoga mat.

David has been practising yoga and meditation for 20 years and teaching for the past 8 years. When he first started he had tight hamstrings, lower back issues and was stressed, looking for a way to relax. Yoga really helped him in all these areas.

Dave's Yoga classes are brilliant a fun friendly atmosphere with a splash of humour and full of motivation. Every class is different, well planned. Dave helps all in the class to achieve the correct yoga postures. The class ends with relaxing mediation that leaves all feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Hi ,Dave's class was relaxed and diverse .As a complete beginner I felt at ease as we began and as the class progressed i felt involved and guided ,As we meditated at the end of the session I found myself realizing that i was both completely relaxed and every part of my body had been pulled and pushed and now felt strong and light and completely wiped out but in a good way Feeling great ,cant wait until next week. I’ve been going to Dave’s yoga session for quite a few years now, it’s helped a lot with my flexibility and core strength, which compliments my running and cycling Going to Dave’s class is always enjoyable and you feel so much better after the session ( especially the relaxation) at the end.
