What happens in this class?

This day retreat is It is an opportunity to deepen your mindfulness experience and practice. It is part of the 8 week MBSR course, although it can also be a one off retreat day for you. If you haven't done an MBSR programme but already have a meditation practice then you are welcome to join.

This day is designed to be a mini-retreat, and we will spend most of it in silence. You will be guided in various mindfulness practices, including some that you may not have practiced before. We invite you to come along with an open…

Things to remember

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing.

Bolsters and chairs are available, but feel free to bring any cushions, blankets and rugs that you like to practice with.

Please bring your own vegetarian lunch and any snacks you like.

An excellent retreat, focusing on mindfulness and covering several types of meditation techniques and mindfulness approaches that are extremely effective. I've been practicing meditation and mindfulness for many years and joined the day as a refresher, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it, whether you have previous experience or none at all. Jo is a wise and welcoming teacher. She provided excellent guidance and insights throughout the day and her experience was apparent right from the start. I will happily return for more.
