You can expect to learn techniques such as; hand cutting, surface decorating, glazing, whilst making a range of pieces, including; pendants, earrings, brooches, cufflinks. As a private session I will tailor it to your specific needs, so for an anniversary I can help you design a special glass bowl, or make a pair of matching glass lanterns with a close friend. During the 3 hour workshop I will teach you draw designs for your glass piece, cut glass and layer coloured sheet glass to create your own unique piece of glass. I have a range of colours available including glass powders, and stringers. There is so much to explore in glass, and I will help you realise your own unique piece including glass dishes, lantern or coasters. Have more than one friend that you want to bring? No worries, additional participants are changed at the standard workshop rate of £85 per person. During your private session you have full use of the workshop space. I can set up a table for you to bring your own beverages and food if you want to celebrate something special. Please note the glass works will be fired in my kiln after the session so will take a few days before they ready to collect. Alternatively, your pieces can be posted.

Looking for a fun and creative activity? This session is perfect for birthdays, Hen or a Christmas Party. Extra guests can be added at £80 per person. As a private booking you will have the whole studio to yourselves for the workshop. Giving you plenty of space to design and make your own creations in fused glass. No experience needed! During the 3 hour session you can make, glass lantern, coasters, tiles, glass bowls or Christamas decorations. The workshop is ideal for both beginners and those with some glass experience. You will learn the basics of working with sheet glass and be shown step by step, how to translate your designs into one final piece. This is an open style workshop allowing learners to develop this skillset and make something unique. I am on hand to advise you at every step to turn your ideas into a finished piece This session can be run on most days and evenings, get in touch if you have a special date in mind. I can host you in my art studio or run the session at your venue. Workshop runs for 3 hours, and held close to Victoria Park in East London. You will be learning the joy of how to make your own individual pendant which you can take home or give to your loved one, all in one afternoon ! We will be cutting and breaking glass scraps and odd bits of china and using beads and bits to embellish your personal and unique pendant in your favourite colours all to your own taste. There will be a gift box or pouch to take your necklace home in too... There will be plenty of tea and coffee and biccies, and this will be a fun filled informal and friendly way to spend your afternoon. Why not bring a friend?

You will get a choice of five designs to work from and they will all be suitable for those with little or no experience… There is a limit of 6 people per class, which enables individual tuition, and each student will take home something wonderful that they have created that day. I will get you through from beginning to end in one day, which means it will be an intensive class, but I can guarantee that you will have a lovely experience and lots of fun too. Classes are from 11am-4.30pm We break for lunch and there is a very nice ‘Cafe Rouge’ at end of street and ‘The Cherry Tree Pub’ two minutes walk away, alternatively, please bring a packed lunch, all drinks provided All ages welcome from 16 onwards
