I attended the beginners epoxy resin course part one yesterday morning and part two in the afternoon. Ideally it is better to stagger the 2 classes so that you can continue to work on your own piece, but it is not essential as I found out. The classes were a mix of ages and abilities , with a range of reasons for attending. Some were there for hobby purposes but others were taking the first steps in a new career. The tuition was very informative, Richard encouraged questions and explained clearly the do's and don'ts of Epoxy resin, keeping everyone involved. If you want to do both courses on the same day, there is a cafe on the site which overlooks the Thames , were you are able to enjoy some lunch whilst digesting your morning class. The afternoon is a similar mix of people were you get to finish your workpiece . Again the instruction is very good as you get to use sanders, chopsaws, and routers all very clearly demonstrated so that they can be used correctly and safely. A very enjoyable experience for people of all abilities. Highly recommended .
