Make your own bangle with me at my studio in Wimbledon. In five to six hours you will learn all the basic techniques of traditional jewellery making and walk away with a beautiful sterling silver bangle. In this one-on-one class you will learn how to forge your own silver ring and how to cut, bend and solder the precious metal. You will witness the magical process of fusing the silver to form a perfect band and learn how to professionally clean and polish the bangle. You will also be able to personal the bangle further by oxidising or texturing the silver if you would like, off stamp a message into the bangle. Materials are included in the price. The price indicated is for one person and the classes are taught on a one-on-one basis. The class is small, limited to four attendees per session. However private bookings are also welcome. This is a Business German Course which includes ten 90min sessions over the course of 10 weeks. These lessons provide executives and employees lessons tailored to their industry and professional context. Your work-specific terminology, therefore, will be incorporated into each German language lesson. Children's handbuild pottery workshop which also includes a 15 minutes trial on the potters wheel. The workshop will commence with a half hour demonstration from a highly experienced potter on how to throw on the potters wheel. Students will then take it turns to take a 15 minute one-on-one trial on the wheel. Our second tutor will continue with the handbuild ceramics workshop with the rest of the group in the other half of the room and will cover pinch pots and coil pots. Children can make bowls and ceramic pets. We'll fire and glaze their creations ready for collection approximately 4 weeks later. Once fired, bowls are dish washer safe, microwave safe and oven proof.
