Always wanted to meditate but not sure where to start? Interested in spirits, energies, auras and chakras? Meditation Mondays with Vanessa are a relaxed and fun way to start to explore a meditation practice in a safe environment with like minded individuals.
Each week we move through differing techniques and practices covering topics such as: The pillars of practice: non-judgement, commitment and consistency, observation and sensation, mindfulness, gratitude, grounding and protection, healing and cleansing, metta (loving kindness) and trust and intuition. In these processes we will also connect with spirit guides, angels, mother nature, celestial beings and different energy systems.
We will complete a meditation together allowing to connect to your innate knowledge and the power of spirit. We will finish off with a sharing circle and an activity to cement our practice.

About your host, Sunset Meditations
Vanessa’s journey on developing a safe place where people feel safe enough to fly away in meditation started in 2017 when she fell in love in with a meditation circle in her home town Melbourne, Australia. A qualified paramedic by trade but fed up with modern medicines inability to heal using a holistic approach of incorporating body, mind and spirit - she set off on a quest to travel, learn and be still around the world.
Her own practice dates back to 2011 and she made steadfast progress on her travels in India where she completed a 10 day silent Vipasana course in Jaipur and spent 4 weeks in Yog Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh. In Varkala she completed her first week long meditation workshop with great success. Now settled in London, Vanessa aims to share her ability to connect and heal with those she welcomes into her space through workshops, meditation circle’s and one to one healing. With an incredible ability to hold space, heal using a range of modalities such as shamanic traditions, angelic reiki and chakra balancing, she is able to clear away stagnant energy and make way for transformation nurturing the human bodies innate inability to heal.
For meditation we recommend comfortable, loose fitting clothing and a water bottle. Bring with you a pen and notepad to write down any insights and for our activity at the end.
All students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
