Are you a nanny or au pair who is in need of a helping hand in the kitchen? Well, this is just the class for you. Join this class and learn all the basic cooking tips and tricks to transform your culinary skills!

In this class

This class involves a healthy mixture of demonstrations and hands-on cooking, with plenty of eating opportunities (so arrive hungry)!

The class will start with the basics: chopping onions, making a white sauce, cooking for a freezer, and many other cooking fundamentals. After this, students will be taught the nutritional aspects of cooking, covering food hygiene, and you will leave the class having created and eaten up to 7 recipes, which you will be able to recreate at home!

Typical recipes:

  • Chicken in breadcrumbs
  • Sweet potato wedges
  • Classic lasagne
  • Ragu & tomato sauce
  • Creamy tomato chicken
  • Kedgeree
  • Fool proof white sauces

  • Cook delicious and nutritious meals for children

This place will make you feel right at home! Emma's Kitchen is a cozy, home-based cookery school located at the bottom of Northcote Road, run by Emma Smith. All classes at Emma's Kitchen take place in Emma's kitchen!! It is an amazing space, converted into a fabulous teaching space with dual ovens, plenty of hobs, and loads of space for you to cook or bake whatever your heart desires.

After increasingly being asked for recipes and cooking advice by friends, family and neighbours, Emma decided it was time to spread the love and opened Emma's Kitchen in 2016 - and we are all better off for it 🙌

Emma's Kitchen offers loads of practical, hands-on classes and courses to bring you some of the best tips & tricks, teach you some important kitchen skills and let you in on some secret recipes for you to make at home for a fancy dinner party, or just a relaxed evening meal.
