I really enjoyed the 2nd part of the Epoxy Resin workshop it was good to see how you can change the epoxy from shiny to matt and use all the power tools. I might have to book myself on the power tool course as well. I would recommend this course and the part 1

Absolutely fabulous!!! Richard really makes sure you understand the process and most importantly why we do things! The class is a really nice size - relaxed but gives everything you need, as a novice, to get a great introduction and feel enthused to carry on! Can’t wait for the next one!

First time doing woodwork and I really enjoyed this. A great introduction to working with wood and getting to use some great machinery. It was actually really nice to be up early meeting new folk and bonding over this experience. I hope we can get on to some more advanced lessons in future.

I so enjoyed four days immersed in learning green woodworking skills. Mat, Graham and Spencer did a brilliant job in taking us through all the steps from selecting the right piece of timber in the woodpile to whittling (or turning) a variety of items as well as how to keep the tools sharp. I'm very pleased with the items I made and the knowledge gained. It's a lovely community.

I really enjoyed the course. The teacher was good, there was a friendly atmosphere and it was great to have a go at creating something using traditional skills and tools.

The class was so so good! Graham was a great teacher, so patient and relaxed. I bought the class for my dad and I for his birthday and we both really enjoyed it! You can take your time when making your bowl, you don’t feel rushed or overwhelmed, and really good energy throughout the day. We were 4 people in the class and it was perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed, thank you!

Really enjoyable day of whittling and wood carving under expert instruction and I now have my own bespoke wooden spoon. Recommend to anyone who wants to experience the meditative joys of wood carving (or just playing with an axe).

Amazing Woodturning Workshop! We had a fantastic time at this woodturning workshop! Terry explained everything clearly and guided us step by step, making it easy to follow even though we had no prior experience. By the end, we each created beautiful wooden bowls we’re really proud of. It was a fun and rewarding experience. Highly recommend!

Ben was a really patient teacher, and not only showed us how to use the relevant tools, he also provided very interesting and informative background on green wood working. He struck a great balance between not being hand-holding, whilst being always available for us to ask questions / help when we needed it. Even though I was a bit apprehensive going into the course, and this was definitely outside of my comfort zone, this was a fantastic experience and truly suitable for a complete beginner. Thanks so much Ben and we'll definitely be sending family & friends your way!
