Make your own Christmas decorations out of felt with this yuletide London activity! All the art supplies you need are included, and you'll come away with two to three memorable creations. Join your supportive and friendly teacher in a colourful studio and get your Christmas craft on. No experience is required, just turn up with some pals and be ready to have fun. Some inspiring designs and samples will be on hand so you can see what is possible, but the final idea is completely yours. As you explore the colourful felt, thread and stuffing, let your creative side take over and enjoy the mindful benefits of crafting. It's even better when you can share this Christmas activity with some of your favourite people as a festive and fun group activity. By the end of this craft class, you will go home with felt decorations that will look fabulous on a tree or just displayed around your house! You could even give them away as a handmade gift.

I bought this as a birthday gift for a friend and we had a great time. Thanks! Tip: If you are going out after, bring a pinny to wear as I got a lot of the moss and twigs over me!

Wonderful ‘Christmassy’ family session (ages from 21 to 85!) making keepsake decorations out of metal. Arden communicated her knowledge of working with metal (cutting, shaping and pressing) and provided support throughout with patience, interactivity and coffee (lots of). Also made a wonderful family memory for all.

A Tabletop Workshop taking place at the Purr & Wag It home studio in Camberwell, London. The weekend sessions run from 10am or 2pm and the evening from 6.30pm. Please note I need a minimum of 3 participants to run this workshop. The fast fix way to make some beautiful felt mistletoe to add to your festive decoration collection. The Everlasting Mistletoe Wreath ((20cm Ø ) uses a combination of cutting and stitching techniques. Made using 100% wool once you've cut and wrapped your mistletoe leaves around the hoop to create your wreath you'll attach the berries by hand stitching. A final flourish is the red organza ribbon bow. If you have arthritis in your hands or a similar condition you may find binding the hoop tautly a little tricky but I can help you with this. Also the stitch work is likely to take a little longer. Very much a case of straight forward once you know how.

This was a very relaxing and rewarding painting session. Anyone who hasn’t painted before will really enjoy this, as it’s very straightforward and simple to achieve some great results. We were lucky enough to have a small and intimate class and our tutor was incredible; very patient and very helpful. The location was easy to find and comfortable, all meaning we had a very enjoyable experience. I’m sure we will be back.

Excellent tutorial on making PJ bottoms. Good instruction from Janice who was very patient with me and the other 3 people in my group. Learnt how to sew internal pockets into the side seams that I hadn’t done before which was great.

Had a lovely experience making a lined makeup bag with tutor Janice who is very patient and helpful, first showing me the workings of their sewing machines (touch button features compared to my own standard one at home). From choosing the fabric, zip colour and step by step instructions from Janice couldn’t believe, for a first attempt, how well the bag turned out. Had a very enjoyable time and am looking to book further courses in the future.

Thoroughly enjoyed this course. There was nice friendly and clear instruction from the tutor, Mandy, and the end result was a stunning beaded poinsettia which I would never have thought I could make myself. Then, because we worked so quickly we had time to make a bonus pair of Christmas tree earrings too! Highly recommended.
