Me and my sisters had a lovely time trying out free motion embroidery. Rachel is really friendly and knowledgeable and took us through all the steps bit by bit as we did the embroidery so we didn’t have to remember it all in one go.

This was a birthday present for my mum and I. I had tried free motion sewing before but this workshop was excellent and I came away inspired and with lots of new ideas and tips that I didn’t already know. I have already purchased and few new bits and started a couple of new projects! THANK YOU

I loved my free motion embroidery class. Rachel is an excellent teacher and gave me the skills and confidence to continue practising at home. I was happy to leave the class with a piece of work I was proud to have made. An enjoyable, creative morning well spent and I hope to take another class soon.

I had a brilliant time at the Free Motion Class at Thames Ditton last night. Having done a previous class with someone else pre Covid I thought I knew basically what to do. No - Rachel’s methods are SOOO much easier. I learnt more in the first hour than at my previous class. Fun and made as easy as possible by Rachel. I went home with a freemotion picture I am proud of! An excellent class even if you don’t know your needle from your bobbin. PS. Rachel, I have ordered the Freezer Paper - a complete revelation!
Alcia - 28 January 2023
It' s more like sketching with a sewing machine. Thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking for a sewing machine so that I can continue freemotion embroidery at home.

Addictive and brilliant- I feel so lucky to have craft my day on my doorstep. Rachel is just so knowledgeable and enthusiastic and her experience shows in her ability to teach so well. This most recent class I attended was free motion embroidery. It was a 3 hour class and I made a bird out of fabric scraps. The class included the materials we needed , how to go about constructing your piece and then putting it together on the machine. I loved it and having help and guidance at hand made it so enjoyable. I was glad to have existing sewing machine experience and I have already bought an embroidery foot for my sewing machine. Thank you Rachel I really enjoyed the session.
