This workshop will have you working up your imagination and creating a little bit of Christmas magic by handcrafting unique metal ornamental decorations to hang on the tree, give as a gift, or use as gift tags, all while learning a few traditional metalsmithing skills and techniques.

Working with sheets of brass, copper and aluminium we will be piercing (sawing), stamping and adding personalised finishing touches that make these handmade ornaments wonderful gifts or lovely hung in your home or on the tree.

Things to remember

All tools, materials, and plenty cups of hot tea & coffee are included.

This workshop is suitable for beginners.

Skills taught :: piercing (sawing), pattern layout, hammering, hand stamping, filing, finishing and polishing.
