Learn how to make one of R Chocolate's best-selling, classic fresh cakes, the Frasier.
Upon arrival to this two-and-a-half hour class, you will be offered a complementary welcome hot chocolate from the range (the hazelnut is the chef’s favourite) while the rest of the class gathers.
Following the chef’s welcome, you will be taught the recipes and techniques – these will cover Genoise sponge, two strawberry jelly techniques, diplomat cream, tempering chocolate as well as decoration ideas.
On top of all this, the knowledgeable chef will take you through the history of cacao, where and how it is grown and the entire process of making chocolate from the bean to the bar.
During this class, you will be given the opportunity to try samples of our fresh chocolates along with the spectrum of Original Beans’ range, from 100% dark chocolate all the way to white chocolate.
Nearly all cacao trees grow within 20 degrees of the equator, and 75% grow within 8 degrees of either side of it. Cacao trees grow in three main regions: West Africa, South and Central America, and Southeast Asia/Oceania.

Great session with the patisseries experts. Took my wife for her 30th birthday and everything was done in a timely fashion (they also serve you lovely drinks throughout!) Shak and Fazel were amazing and we'll definitely look to go again maybe for the chocolate making session.
