What happens in this class?

London Art Classes are held in famous artist Nick Malone's working studio - a truly creative space in which to realise your artistic potential!

Beginners to drawing and painting are particularly welcome - the classes are small with lots of personal attention and a great atmosphere. We offer a very relaxed, student led class where everyone is free to work at their own pace. We find it best to get stuck in straight away, so this class is less theory, and more practical!

There are three elements to each class:

One: Practical studio work

I came to Nicks class without picking up a paint brush since I was a child, 7 weeks on and the progress I have made is more than I could have ever imagined. Its an absolute pleasure attending the Saturday class, I learn more each week, meet new people and get all the help and experience from Nick Malone. Fantastic Art Class. Highly recommended.

We were a little disappointed. Nick Malone was a nice man and clearly very clever but we felt at the end of the session we hadn't learnt very much ie how to improve our technique. Also we had no choice as to the medium.to be used. This might have been practical ie paintings would dry to take home by using acrylic. Lunch was very pleasant but it was not made clear that lunch would be provided so we had bought food. Overall probably felt the course was overpriced for the content. To summarise Nick should probably have asked us at the beginning what we wanted to do and also given a choice of medium if possible and maybe demonstrated some techniques. Also I can't remember reading anywhere about lunch being provided. We did a sketching course previously which was brilliant Comments please.
