Reeta was a fantastic tutor. She had everything prepared in advance in order that we could learn the maximum number of dishes. Food was delicious and relatively easy to make so will definitely do the recipes again at home. We both felt very welcomed and that we had had a real insight into indian. Cooking

Your Teacher

Having been brought up in India, she was taught by her grandmother and nan from a young age that many symptoms can be treated and cured with food. When Reeta was young she suffered from arthritis and was cured by Sushil ji Vaid (an Ayurvedist in Jaipur) by simply changing her food habits. She has complete faith that if we eat the correct foods in the correct portions, at the correct times, we can keep ourselves healthy for a long time. She has great belief that Indian herbs and spices have a healing power which she is currently using in…

This was a great class. Reeta took the time to explain the different spices and ingredients (including their health properties which was particularly interesting). Then we made a number of delicious dishes, not too complicated, very manageable, and very good. Reeta was a careful and helpful teacher. I'd definitely do another course with her, and this has whet my appetite for more Indian veg cooking!

Reeta was great, very knowledgable and a careful teacher! The food is delicious and exploring the spices and ingredients was great fun. Makes me want to do more Indian cooking courses!

We had a wonderful time at Reeta's workshop learning about Indian herbs and spices, making Indian street food together and enjoying the end result. Reeta and her family are really kind and hospitable and apart from the menu we even got to try a couple of other homemade dishes that they kindly shared with us. Altogether we were in great company and enjoyed ourselves (and the food) a lot. Highly recommended.
