You will choose and cut your glass, learn the copper foiling techniques and how to solder your foiled pieces together smoothly. No previous gardening experience? No problem. Kay will walk you through our step by step guide of how to create a self-contained garden that’s grown in a closed glass container. Think of it as a mini-greenhouse, a perfect miniature garden for urban dwellers. All the equipment will be provided for you as well as a care guide of how to look after your terrarium at the end of the workshop. Come join us at our cozy plant shop for a fun and friendly Cactus & Succulent Landscape! In this workshop, you'll learn how to create your own arid landscape inside a open glass vessel. We'll start off with a brief introduction to the history and science behind terrariums, as well as the different types of plants that can be used in them. Then, our instructor will guide you through the steps of preparing the soil and plants, and arranging them in a visually appealing way. Throughout the workshop, you'll have the chance to ask questions and get personalized guidance from our instructor. By the end, you'll have a unique and beautiful miniature world that you can take home and care for. This is a great opportunity to connect with nature and create a living work of art.
