This hands-on workshop is perfect for beginners and craft enthusiasts alike, offering a fun and accessible introduction to the art of sewing. In this class, you'll learn : *The basics sewing & machine operation. *Practice basic sewing on machine *Fabric selection, *The step-by-step process to create your very own stylish scrunchie *Helpful tips and tricks to ensure your scrunchie is not only fashionable but also uniquely yours. In this workshop you will come away with: An in depth knowledge of sewing with stretch fabrics and elastics A step by step guide to sewing underwear Knowledge of how to measure yourself correctly A pattern of whatever shape knickers you choose Learn the basics of using an overlocker An insight into the day to day runnings of El Bras Guide to DIY underwear and up-cycling to use for further projects A pair (or two depending on how speedy you are!) of your own handmade knickers All materials will be provided for you on the day but if you would like to up cycle your own materials then please feel free to bring them along. Please let us know your general size ahead of the workshop to ensure we have the correct sized pattern easy to hand. A basic knowledge of sewing is required for this workshop.
