We have set up the intermediate dressmaking course for those who wish to increase their knowledge and experience in dressmaking. This practical course offers a wide range of sewing techniques for you to choose from, allowing you to tailor your learning experience to your preferences. Whether you wish to practice on a piece of fabric provided or bring your own project to work on, the choice is yours. Our expert teachers will cover various skills, from welted pockets to tricky invisible zips, and they'll share all the top tips and tricks with you. With small workshop sizes, you'll benefit from valuable one-to-one time with our teachers, ensuring maximum engagement and personalized assistance. Additionally, peer learning provides valuable insights into additional techniques and tricks. Our teachers possess extensive knowledge in dressmaking, enabling us to customize the course to meet your specific needs, interests, and requirements. Flexibility is a key feature of our program, ensuring that you get the most out of your sewing journey. Some skills that you could learn: Welted, flap pocket Lining a jacket or dress Invisible, fly zip Pattern matching Bound buttonholes and many more We suggest learning between 3-5 techniques across the 4 weeks. The sessions will give you time to practice and to build your confidence. This is a practical course with live demonstrations, time to practice techniques and to share ideas with fellow creatives. All equipment and some materials will be provided.
