The product broke the next day as the terrarium glass is cheap and thin. I have several terrariums that have lasted years and the glass is solid, I wouldn’t waste my money on this again and don’t recommend this class to anyone

I bought the DIY Terrarium Workshop as a Christmas gift for my husband and we went in January. It was so fun and amazing to do! There’s free parking outside the studio, with the workshop based upstairs in a communal area. Katie led us through a brief history of the terrarium, their business and demonstrated how to make one before setting us off to do it ourselves. If you arrive early, you have the opportunity to go down to their warehouse and choose what plants you would like in your terrarium. There are so many choices! Otherwise, they can pick the plants for you. You have all the tools and kit you need. I bought the ‘Big Balloon’ kit for my husband which required more soil than the smaller ones, and they were able to top-up anything else you needed (i.e get us more soil, provide bigger looking rocks etc). It’s great building it with other people in the workshop too, not difficult to do and anyone can build one. Especially as you have Katie there as a guide which was extremely helpful. At the end Katie runs through how to care and maintain your terrarium and provides a sheet with this information on (in case you forget!). Overall a great experience and I would 100% recommend the workshop to other people who would want to build their own!
