Who knew pasta could be so good? Come and have fun with us. We will teach your kids to make simple and delicious homemade pasta shapes from scratch. a special regional pasta Southern Italian shape, a healthy pasta recipe while having fun.

That's not all. Do some good too whilst you make pasta. Create and share positive energy for yourself and the world. All the proceeds of this event will go in support of Smile and Make Pasta - a social project founded by Alessandra Lauria. The idea of this event is to have kids supporting other kids in need!

**How is the class structured?
**

The kids will be greeted with healthy and light snacks, whilst the mums can order tea from the cafe upstairs.
We will make everything from scratch only with organic, seasonal, healthy ingredients.

At the end of the class, the children take home recipes, a goodie bag and a bag full of their masterpieces.

**What do the kids do during the class?
**
I show the kids to make a simple and healthy pasta dough with only 2 ingredients. Once we have done that, we make the pasta shape: maccherroni Calabresi. The kids will have the recipe at home with some instructions on how to cook and serve it.

The class will last approximately 30 minutes and it will be a lot of fun for the kids.

**Every single penny from the event will be donated to the social project:
Smile & Make Pasta - pasta-making workshops created for kids in a paediatric oncologic ward.

When did you last have fresh pasta?

Join the course to learn how to make fresh Italian pasta.
You will learn a life skill for life!

During the course you will make
fresh tagliatelle pasta
an Italian tomato and pepper sauce (crema di peperoni) to go with the pasta.

The course is a combination of demonstration and a hand-on experience. You will master the preparation, kneading and cutting technique of the pasta. You will also get the instruction on the pasta sauce and make it yourself. To finish off you will learn the arrangement and presentation technique. All of these made with 5 Elements for the best flavour effect.

Minimum equipment for maximum effect. No special tools necessary. Just a working surface, a knife and a rolling pin.

Fresh Pasta Making Workshop

This is probably one of the most comprehensive pasta courses you’ll ever take.

Under the guidance of La Cucina tutor Stefano Borella you’ll be making fresh pasta in all its guises. Long pasta, coloured pasta, shaped pasta and stuffed pasta will all feature.

You’ll also learn a selection of authentic pasta sauces that go with both fresh and dried pasta. Learning which pasta goes best with which sauce for the perfect pasta dish.

In addition Stefano will teach you to make pillow soft gnocchi and an impressive gluten-free pasta too.

Together you will make a sumptuous lunch to enjoy with wine, don't worry you don't have to eat it all, there will be plenty to take home - including Caldesi's famous oven-baked pasta.
