In this fun workshop you will each get to make a two mosaic coasters. It's a great beginner workshop, you will be provided with coaster bases and a selection of pre-cut tiles to make your own individual designs. You will be introduced to mosaic work which can allow you to progress onto further projects Come along with a friend, or have a hen do with a difference! Workshops last approximately 2.5 hours and are held in my studio at home, a cosy informal environment with plenty of tea. In this class Inspired by vibrant fabrics, you will create your own amazing patterns which will be turned into a unique tree motif christmas card. Who is the class for? This class is suitable for people of all ability and experience. Whether you are a complete novice to the world of lino printing, or a seasoned pro just looking to get some helpful tips and practice, this course will be perfect for you. The traditional art of block printing can be translated onto a multitude of different surfaces. In this class, students will be taught how to lino print and come up with a concept your own christmas tree design, which will then be used to hand print their cards. Under the expert guidance of your teacher, Antonietta Torsiello, you will transfer and carve your hand drawn design onto a lino block and create a stunning lino print to take home with you after the class. All tools and materials will be included in the class fee, and will be provided by Antonietta.
