I am a novice, will I be able to follow the instructions easily?
Yes, all levels of experience are welcome.
Do you have step free access?
Yes. Step free access is available via the lifts and ramps on the ground floor. If you need assistance, please get in touch prior to your session.
What equipment do I need to bring with me?
Nothing, just bring yourself. All materials and equipment are provided. Come dressed in something comfortable, that you don't mind getting a little clay on.
What can I make?
Anything! We suggest small and medium sized pieces. Some students manage to make up to 3 pieces.
Can I take away my pieces after the session?
No. The pieces need to go through a drying process, then 2 firings - before they are ready to collect approx. 4 weeks later. Once they are ready to collect, you will be notified via email/mobile.
Do you have evening sessions?
Yes. By appointment only, so please get in touch.
Do you host parties or team building sessions?
Yes. These are very popular. Please get in touch with your request.

Fun and therapeutic. The class had a relaxed and free-flowing atmosphere. Mandisa had the knowledge and the tools to help me bring my ideas to life. Overall, a great introduction to working with ceramics and a pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Such a great workshop - we learnt so much from Mandisa and it was a really nice space and atmosphere in the class. Even if the pots started to go a little wrong she was very attentive and helped us bring it back. It was really fun doing the moulding and then glazing - such good value.
Can't wait to pick up our bowls!

Great taster session. Mandisa was so welcoming and made you feel very relaxed as soon as you arrived. We had total freedom over what we wanted to make, and she was there to offer advice. We cant wait to see the final product and we are looking at doing some drop in sessions.

We had the best time a couple of weeks back, a really great class which was very well taught. The instructions were clear and if things didn't go quite to plan for whatever reason then we had another go! It was fun and relaxed and we'd highly recommend it.

My partner and I had so much fun at Mandisa's workshop. There were six of us there, so there was plenty of opportunity to chat about what we were doing and learn from each other as we tried different techniques. Mandisa is a great teacher, the class had a really relaxed and welcoming vibe. The content was accessible, nothing super technical, just getting to grips with the materials and the fundamental hand-building techniques. Having time to decorate our pieces at the end was a brilliant finishing touch. I fully recommend if you are curious about pottery or just want to try something new.

Really great experience. I was a beginner and Mandisa was incredibly kind and patient with me. She helped me make two pieces, a bowl and a plate, intervened when necessary but was also careful not to alter my original idea or construction. She has an incredible energy and great talent, which she finds a way of sharing with the rest of the class. I recommend this class to anyone who wants a chill (and relaxingly productive!) Sunday afternoon.

Such a great way to spend a Sunday evening, which for me can often be filled with Monday anxiety and boring work prep. Mandisa was welcoming, easy-going and clearly super talented. She whizzed through a really helpful demo before letting us get on with our own work. She had loads of tips, ideas and suggestions - and was really great at explaining the processes. Absolutely brilliant time was had by all 6 of us during this class. Mindisa was a fab teacher and also lovely to spend our Sunday afternoon with. Mindisa was super knowledgeable and very patient with us as well! The 6 of us chose the class (as complete beginners!) for a chilled sunday afternoon experimenting and learning a new skill. However, I'd say that the class would be suitable for all levels of experience and whatever the occasion, whether it be a birthday celebration, Hen party, or to acquire a new/ more advanced skill.
