We absolutely loved this class and would totally recommend! Mandisa was great, she gave us a little demo and instruction but mostly let us get on with it, but was always around to help and give us some handy tips. I found the booking process on here to be a bit confusing but Mandisa’s communication is great and things were sorted quickly. We can’t wait to see how our work turns out! Thanks so much for this!

Mandisa allowed us the space and time to create whatever our hearts desired (and my mum was very ambitious!) while also stepping in to help and encourage when needed. JasThis was a great workshop for a first introduction to Pottery. It was relaxed yet you are given all the instructions and support to create your first item of pottery. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it!

MarkSuch a great workshop - we learnt so much from Mandisa and it was a really nice space and atmosphere in the class. Even if the pots started to go a little wrong she was very attentive and helped us bring it back. It was really fun doing the moulding and then glazing - such good value. Can't wait to pick up our bowls!

There were six of us there, so there was plenty of opportunity to chat about what we were doing and learn from each other as we tried different techniques. Mandisa is a great teacher, the class had a really relaxed and welcoming vibe. The content was accessible, nothing super technical, just getting to grips with the materials and the fundamental hand-building techniques. Having time to decorate our pieces at the end was a brilliant finishing touch. I fully recommend if you are curious about pottery or just want to try something new.

She helped me make two pieces, a bowl and a plate, intervened when necessary but was also careful not to alter my original idea or construction. She has an incredible energy and great talent, which she finds a way of sharing with the rest of the class. I recommend this class to anyone who wants a chill (and relaxingly productive!) Sunday afternoon.

AmySuch a great way to spend a Sunday evening, which for me can often be filled with Monday anxiety and boring work prep. Mandisa was welcoming, easy-going and clearly super talented. She whizzed through a really helpful demo before letting us get on with our own work. She had loads of tips, ideas and suggestions - and was really great at explaining the processes. MirandaAbsolutely brilliant time was had by all 6 of us during this class. Mindisa was a fab teacher and also lovely to spend our Sunday afternoon with. Mindisa was super knowledgeable and very patient with us as well! The 6 of us chose the class (as complete beginners!) for a chilled sunday afternoon experimenting and learning a new skill. However, I'd say that the class would be suitable for all levels of experience and whatever the occasion, whether it be a birthday celebration, Hen party, or to acquire a new/ more advanced skill.
