This workshop is very hands on and is suitable for people who have attended our beginners workshops or have had previous experience working with clay and have a knowledge of the basics.

At the workshop we have: 3 electric kilns of varying sizes

6 electric pottery wheels

A slab roller and a clay extruder

A large selection of plaster moulds and modelling tools

A good selection of slips, underglazes and glazes

We use a range of clays – white and speckled buff throwing clays, White Earthstone hand building clay, buff clay, crank and terracotta.

Things to remember

We do not provide aprons, please bring your own to the workshop each session or wear clothes that you don’t mind getting messy.

Treated myself to this course at the beginning of the year. It's been a wonderful, relaxing, creative and therapeutic experience and the staff at Workshop 305 are great too!
