Odile was a great, informative, and very patient teacher. She was super flexible and gave really useful tips and guidance. I was really struggling to center, and she took the time to show me various techniques which might suit my build and frame better. Loved the course, super comprehensive, and highly recommend.
Arabella (Gilchrist) de Morais Sarmento - 27 April 2023
Professional, flexible and friendly. Great balance of being shown techniques and getting hands on. When I needed to change class dates Odile came up with alternatives. Highly recommend.

The team at Odile’s bring a calm & creative atmosphere where you can quickly find your creative groove, teaching you everything you need to know. It’s fabulously messy (which makes it fun) and I always leave, having felt productive, no matter how much I’ve achieved n that makes me happy. Ps. Don’t forget to say hello to ‘River’ the neighbour’s cat, that calls the studio his “Home away from home”

Odile now works full time as a potter and pottery teacher. She's invented many of the tools, teaching aids and techniques they use at the studio and is constantly experimenting with new ideas and processes. . She also likes cooking and gardening because she can make the dishes...

Their studio is in a…

I am thoroughly enjoying the intensive throwing ceramics course. I hadn’t tried throwing before - Odile is such a good teacher that I was making bowls in the first session! Thank you so much, I find the classes relaxing and rewarding :)
