Porcelain Christmas Decorations

This session is all about using porcelain, the queen of clays, to make your own Christmas decorations.

Porcelain is very strong, white and light, with a lovely smooth, soft texture when fired. It’s particularly known for its translucency, which makes it especially suitable for Christmas decorations as the material will show off candlelight and fairy lights. You can embellish your designs with stamps, carving and texture which will particularly show off this quality and even set stones of cubic zirconia to add an extra sparkle to your pieces.
