In these monthly Sunday Art Clubs, children will learn how to master a pencil and paintbrush to create their own colourful piece of artwork.

Students will begin the class with a few fun creative exercises, warming up their wrists and their imagination, experimenting with colours, lines and textures.

Hosted in an inspiring and calming art studio, this class is guided by one of our child-focused professional artists. Children will learn to draw and paint with a local master of the craft using brand new artist materials.

What will I be painting?

We have a selection of A3 images for your child to choose from, ranging from animals, classic cartoon characters, landscapes, seascapes, famous paintings and more. Once selected, your child will use our clever light boxes to trace out their image before painting. The artist instructor will guide each child individually through their piece.

What age group is this class suitable for?

Best for ages 6-9. Younger guests can attend with adult supervision. And older guests / older siblings are also welcome.

Is this a technical class?

We believe that getting creative should be fun. We give children the space to connect over their shared love of play and creativity. Whilst they're being taught by a professional artist, we aren't strict with them - we don't want this to feel like school, more like play. If you do want more technical tuition, we offer private masterclasses with one of our child-focussed professional artists, learn to draw and paint with a local master of the craft, with brand new artist materials that can be taken home after class!

What's included?

- A mini Art-Kit full of brand new artist materials to keep including an A3 paper, brushes, pencil, acrylic paints and more - Biodegradeable sleeveless apron - 90 minutes with a professional artist - n.b. no refreshments are provided

What is the structure of the class?

Each class will begin with pencil and paper based warm up exercises to help you find your creative flow before moving onto your paintings. You'll then be guided by the professional artist instructor to create your very own 'masterpeace'.

What is the best way to get to MasterPeace?

If coming from Victoria train station, head through the main railway station and take the Coach Station exit right next to Lush. Our studio is in Eccleston yards, a two minute walk away. When walking through the yards, you can find the studio on the left, with the huge gold Hand of Fatima design in the window.

What is your cancellation policy?

For regular classes, you can cancel up to 48 hours before your class. You will receive a full refund or you can opt to reschedule your class. For private classes, these bookings are non-refundable / re-schedulable as they require us to cancel our pre-existing classes to make space for them. Managers’ discretion will be applied in exceptional circumstances.

Can I organise a class at a different date & time?

Of course! We can organise private tuition sessions or private classes for groups - at a date & time that suits you! Just drop us a line at info@masterpeace.studio and we'll be in touch to organise this with you.

Can I organise a party for my child at your studio?

Absolutely - we love hosting arty parties for children of all ages. We can organise themed classes to include things like customised canvas boards. And we can also extend the standard 90 minute class to include cake cutting time / further party celebrations.

I booked my son and some of his friends a private lesson and it was such a wonderful experience! I can’t recommend it highly enough. Our teacher was fantastic, helping to guide the kids paint some wonderful art works and the setting was so warm and inviting! We were all looking forward to it but it absolutely exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back!

Not well organised, email informing us to arrive 15mins early, but no one there no signs, no idea if I was in the right place. Was the first to arrive, but my girls still didn't start till 20mims after others ad lighted screen was not working. Sorry, I can't recommend you but will not leave a bad review either.
