10. Pumpkin Carving with English Cheese and Cider Tasting for Grown Ups!
Not everyone wants a goofy toothless face adorning their front porch, however charming your eight year olds' efforts might be! Come and spend a couple of hours with us in wonderful surroundings and allow yourself some uninterrupted creativity! We will equip you with a pumpkin, tools, some inspiration and a delicious Somerset Cheeses and Cider. Bring a friend and make an evening of it - and go home with your very own masterpiece! Bring along some inspiration for your pumpkin, or copy some of our ideas. This is not a competition ... just an opportunity to get your hands sticky and have some spooky fun! The workshop will begin at 6.30 with a glass of chilled Somerset Cider, and some time to plot out your design before you get carving. Bear in mind it can get messy; so don't wear your favourite white silk shirt ;) Don't worry though - we will provide aprons! Once you have finished your masterpiece your reward will be a carefully curated plate of delicious Somerset cheeses; the perfect autumn accompaniment to a tasting of English Ciders. Don't worry - if you are not a cider drinker; there will be soft drinks, wine or beer also available to purchase on the night. Note 1: This class and tasting session will take place in Rise & Vine wine Store at 30 Station Terrace, Kensal Green, London NW10 5RP. A very short walking distance of multiple public transport options (see instructions section). Note 2: Heirlooms & Wooden Spoons events are always great opportunities to switch off and get immersed. Feel free to turn off your phone, and escape the world for a couple of hours! You do not need to bring anything with you, other than perhaps a sense of humour and the willingness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in! Note 3: Still and Sparkling water will be available throughout the class, and a full bar is available on site to purchase any other drinks. Note 4: By purchasing this class you are confirming that you understand that you will be working with potentially dangerous kitchen equipment and that you waive any and all rights to make claims for any injury or accident sustained. Note 5: Please ensure you arrive on time (but not too early as we will be setting up)! I can highly recommend grabbing a coffee at one of our lovely nearby cafes , such as L’Angolo, Urban Soul, Cable Co. or Messapica if you arrive early! Note 6: Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns or process refunds at this time. If you are unable to make your class please feel free to give your slot to a friend ;)
