What you will do

Sheena is a passionate home cook and foodie that believes healthy food doesn't have to be bland or boring. On her own journey with her digestive health she had to revolutionise the way she cooked and ate and is now teaching other people to do the same. Using recipes handed down to her by her Mother and Grandmother plus tips and dishes learnt on her travels she has modified these recipes to be healthy and nutritious but full of flavour.

Sheena will teach you how to make main courses, side dishes and snacks that your friends and family will enjoy too. From Indian curries to Japanese inspired fish dishes you will learn an array of techniques and tips to take home with you. Throughout the class you will be guided through the link between certain herbs and spices and the gut and how Ayurvedic principles play a huge part in helping understand the mind and body connection.

She has been on her own journey to fix her digestive health, believing in connecting the gut and mind through cooking. In doing so, she is ensuring that healthy food doesn't have to be bland or boring!

Notes

Bring your curiosity and Sheena will provide everything else! Please note there are stairs down to the kitchen and she can cater for vegetarians, vegans and most of the dishes are diary and gluten free (but not necessarily suitable for celiacs). She will try to cater to individual dietary requirements as much as possible but cannot guarantee an allergy free environment.
