Though we can’t recreate the tumult of the roadsides in India, we’ll teach how to make jaw-dropping dishes that will transport you to the street corners of Delhi. Learn how to make street food eats such as Papdi Chaat, Bhaturas (crisp & fluffy puffed breads), Tandoori Chicken & Pakoras!

FAQs
Do I need any prior experience or knowledge before attending a class?
No absolutely not. Our classes suit all levels - from beginners to advanced home cooks!
Do I need to bring anything with me?
We provide everything so you don't need to bring anything you. Well, apart from a healthy appetite!
My child is interested in Indian cookery - can they attend a class?
Although our minimum age requirement is 14, we do allow students younger than this to attend if they are confident using a knife and are accompanied by an adult. (Note - you will need to book a place for each attendee).
I have a dietary allergy - can you cater for it?
Very possibly! To double check, please email monica@spiceclubuk.com before booking.
Do you run any virtual cookery classes?
Yes! I run an online Indian cookery school, www.shikshak.co.uk where I teach live cookery classes on Zoom as well as via a recipe video portal. Feel free to email monica@spiceclubuk.com if you have any questions.

The Delhi Street food class was another fantastic experience cooking along with Monica. Everything is explained and demonstrated really well & then you have chance to participate in the food prep. The atmosphere is very friendly & inclusive. I would recommend this with no hesitation!
Paul Riley - 28 February 2022
Monica and her Mum were very warm, welcoming and certainly knew their stuff about Indian food and spices. The kitchen setting was ideal for the seven of us and we all had a go different parts of cooking dishes. The 3 hours was just right for the course including eating the dishes afterwards. The only negative is that normal Indian take away food will not live up to my heightened expectations :-) .
