FAQs
What is the refund and rescheduling policy?
If we are given 7 or more days notice, we will reschedule you to future class. If we are given 6 or less days notice, we are unable to offer you a refund or reschedule as this is not enough time to resell your place. We do however allow you to send any friend or family member of your choice to the class in your place. We have a no refunds policy, due to our business being tiny! We hope you understand. Our tickets are non-nominative, meaning you can give your ticket to a friend or family member if you choose to!
Can my child (6 years +) come?
Yes! Definitely! We think 6 year olds (and kids in general) make the best ceramic pots ever! They will need a bought ticket as they are using the same materials and slip glazes, which will lead to their beautiful pieces needing two firings in the kiln, just like everyone else attending.
Can I lock my bike up or park my car at the studio?
Yes you can, we have parking outside our studio and bike stands outside too.
How long does it take for my pieces to be ready after the class?
How long does it take for my pieces to be ready after the class? So you will be able to collect your pieces or have them delivered after we fire them in the kiln (twice). This takes 3 to 4 weeks! But sometimes it can take longer, so please give us time :) We send out a text / email to tell you they are ready to collect.

Really great intensive class. Stephanie lead a well orgainsed, clear and very accessible class. The facilities are great and well eqipped. The instruction was of a high standard covering a lot of ground in a short time! I would definitely recommend The Ceramicists to any one wanting to start from scratch or to continue develop their skills at a higher level.

I really enjoyed this intensive workshop. Stephanie was a great teacher in guiding us through the processes and was helpful when needed. We spent a perfect amount of time on each different kind of pottery method. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to have a taste of pottery/ceramics so they can experience what kind of style they prefer to play with. For me I enjoyed the coil method and also the wheel. More time there would have been preferred but I understand it was a class to try a bit of everything.
