A Transformative First Pottery Class Experience I recently had the pleasure of attending my very first pottery class, and I can confidently say it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked into the studio, I was enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The Vibe: Creative and Inspiring The studio itself was a haven of creativity. The walls were adorned with beautiful pottery pieces, showcasing the incredible talent of both the instructor and previous students. The soft lighting and calming music created an ambiance that encouraged exploration and self-expression. I felt a sense of community as I joined fellow beginners, all excited to embark on this artistic journey together. Laughter and chatter filled the air, making it clear that this was a space where creativity flourished. The Teacher: A True Artisan Our instructor - Tanvi was nothing short of amazing. With a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for pottery, they guided us through each step of the process with patience and enthusiasm. Their ability to break down complex techniques into manageable steps made learning accessible and enjoyable. They encouraged us to embrace our mistakes as part of the creative process, which helped alleviate any initial anxiety I had about my lack of experience. What truly stood out was the instructor's personalized approach. They took the time to connect with each student, offering constructive feedback and tailored advice. Their infectious enthusiasm for pottery inspired us all to push our boundaries and explore our creativity. It was evident that they genuinely cared about our progress and wanted us to leave the class feeling accomplished. The Experience: Hands-On and Engaging The hands-on nature of the class was exhilarating. We started with basic techniques, learning how to shape and mold the clay. As I worked with my hands, I felt a sense of connection to the material and a newfound appreciation for the art of pottery. The instructor’s demonstrations were clear and engaging, and I found myself lost in the rhythm of the wheel and the tactile nature of the clay. By the end of the class, I had created my very first piece of pottery—a simple bowl that I was incredibly proud of. The sense of achievement I felt was overwhelming, and I left the studio with a newfound passion for pottery and a desire to continue my journey. Conclusion: A Must-Try Experience Overall, my first pottery class was nothing short of magical. The vibrant atmosphere, the supportive community, and the exceptional instructor combined to create an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking to explore their artistic side, regardless of skill level. I can’t wait to return and continue honing my pottery skills!

Fab class !! Would highly recommend this. Learned additional skills. Will certainly be booking another class soon. I am hoping that courses will be offered also so we can advance our techniques rather than one off classes only.

I had so much fun! The tutorial is amazing, I was a complete beginner and was still able to make two things I wanted to keep, a cup and a dish. Our teacher was really patient and helped us all correct mistakes without judging us for how silly they were, and was clearly super talented!! Will definitely be back!
