Samya was raised in the Middle-East, in she decided to move to London to further her education and career. Since being here in London, she has realized that there isn’t somewhere to get an authentic “home-cooked” Middle-Eastern meal (specifically Lebanese).
There’s more to us than falafels and shawerma. Our cuisine is built around intimate gatherings in the kitchen - mothers, aunts, grandmothers - sharing stories and endless hours of advice, while preparing the “sufra” (or spread of food) composed of delicate and carefully balanced rustic recipes that have been carefully preserved and passed down from generations past…
