FAQs
Do I need to be able to draw to come to the workshop?
No, Lino Printing is about the marks you make with your tools. In our print and prosecco workshop the image will already be drawn onto the lino for you as a guide, but don’t worry if you find yourself feeling a little more confident as the workshop progresses, there are ways to design and create a more unique print.
Should I bring my own alcoholic/non alcoholic beverage?
Yes, its BYO so do bring your own beverage and we will provide the glasses. Please be aware that sharp tools are going to be used, so we do ask you to drink responsible.
What will I go home with?
You will leave with around 5 beautiful A4 prints to hang at home and the knowledge to keep printing.
Do I have to bring any materials?
We provide all materials and equipment. We are currently not handing out aprons, please bring your own or wear suitable clothing.
How many people are in a workshop?
Due to COVID we are following all guidelines with a maximum of 6 people within one workshop.
Will everyone be socially distanced?
Yes, we are ensuring everyone is socially distanced when sitting in their seat. Everyone will have their own materials and equipment.

I came on my own and felt welcome from the start. Eva was lovely and was very good at making everyone feel relaxed- we loved the music selection! Eva explained everything very clearly and it was an excellent way to spend two hours on a Saturday evening and value for money too. We took away our prints and the lino used to make them. I am inspired to do more!

Great fun, relaxed and informative. Emily was patient and lovely

What a great experience in a little arty treasure trove of a studio. I’ve left with a new found love for Lino print which I would like to continue with.

Small and friendly print school on Lavender Hill in Clapham

Founded by artist Izzy Moreau who believes that, in this age of technology, it is important to escape sometimes into the hands-on world of traditional arts and crafts.

Unlike some of the bigger schools, Lavender Print School is flexible with what it teaches and when so that students can come along at times that suit them during weekdays, evenings and weekends. Drinks and refreshments are always included in the price and bringing along friends and family is encouraged.
