Great instructor, really nice guy and helpful teacher. Fun afternoon, I'd go back and do it again. One bit of constructive feedback - the postcode you list for the location is incorrect, so I was about 30 minutes late to the class. Might want to fix that!
Lorenzo was a great teacher and I had a brilliant time
I came on my own and felt welcome from the start. Eva was lovely and was very good at making everyone feel relaxed- we loved the music selection! Eva explained everything very clearly and it was an excellent way to spend two hours on a Saturday evening and value for money too. We took away our prints and the lino used to make them. I am inspired to do more!
Had a great afternoon learning about drypoint. I am now really keen to try some more ideas.
Fantastic experience, Lorenzo is well prepared and happy to help all students. Another great ability of his is to set all participants at ease from the get go!
I really enjoyed this class - the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and Lorenzo was a great teacher
Great workshop! Lorenzo is a great teacher, very knowledgeable, he will help and support you leaving your creativity flow at the same time. You'll get to know two print types: drypoint and lino cut and will pick the one you like the most. 3 hours flew by, I tried drypoint but I want to come back to try lino! Highly recommended :)
Great fun, relaxed and informative.
Emily was patient and lovely
Absolutely loved it! Eva is a fantastic teacher. Can’t wait to try another class.
What a great experience in a little arty treasure trove of a studio. I’ve left with a new found love for Lino print which I would like to continue with.
Teacher had great knowledge and we had plenty of time for demos and to print out our own designs.
Not easy to find the place. But the class was good. Ben was really knowledgeable and put you at ease. My first experience in printmaking was enjoyable. Thank you
It was my first time trying drypoint and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m definitely going to sign up for more classes. Ben is a fantastic teacher, really knowledgeable and encouraging.
From the outset, Luke Wade was welcoming and positive so even an inept beginner like me felt encouraged. The group was small enough for there not to be any crowding or waiting for equipment and Luke appeared to give support and guidance across the levels of ability. I would definitely return.
This is an absolutely fun workshop, where Luke and Liorah teach with great enthusiasm. They support each attendant through their respective project and help with ideas for prints and explain all the tools, materials and where to get them. They also encourage people to leave their comfort zone when working by showing not only Lino cut, but also gradient colour lino cut and reduction lino cut for those interested, as well as Chine colle techniques when printing with drypoint etching plates. I learned so much that I am now regularly preparing my own plates at home since, thank you very much both for the excellent session.
Great workshop! Luke and Liora were friendly and knowledgeable. I tried out drypoint etching for the first time, having only tried lino cutting in the past. It was a super encouraging class that got me experimenting with different printmaking techniques. The studio is comfortable and welcoming. I will definitely be back!
Really enjoyed the Printmaking Workshop, was very informative and creative
Luke was really helpful and funny. I loved the prints I made and would definitely come back again! Thanks
