A wonderful class. Giulia is an excellent, patient teacher. Small group, plenty of time, very relaxing but also hard work! I highly recommend for learning the basics of mosaic making.

This class is absolutely fantastic, great for beginners. Giulia is an excellent communicator, has lots of interesting information to share as you go through the day.
She is able to transfer the basic skills and enable you to come away feeling like you’ve accomplished something.

Overall it was an enjoyable experience, it did feel a little rushed especially if it takes a while to get the hang of the technique. We would have like a bit more direction but it was very nice that there are 4 in the class

Wonderful experience . Very welcoming, and everything you need is supplied, there is ongoing support and guidance through the day. A friendly environment. You get to make and take home a beautiful mosaic tile.
Giulio is an inspirational artist and an excellent teacher.

Giulia was fantastic! We really enjoyed our day workshop for the Direct method of Mosaic! It was quite a long day but she made it really fun, and gave each of us lots of individual advice and help. She also had a great playlist of music while we were tiling away. We have a new found appreciation of mosaics and are really proud of ours!

Amazing experience! Giulia is lovely, very patient and knowledgeable. Mosaic is harder than it looks but we all managed to finish our pieces in the end, they looked lovely for first timers, and now I am looking forward to my next class of the Indirect Technique. Recommended!

Giulia was concise with her explanations, which allowed us to get started fast without being overwhelmed by the information. When we got stuck in a technical issue or artistic design she happily provided us with options in order to find a exit route.

I booked the workshop for my mum’s birthday and we had such a lovely day. It was great to have a selection of designs to choose from and and inspire us for our pieces and Guilia did a great job of explaining what to do and helping throughout the day. Guilia clearly explained how to use the tools and create an amazing mosaic! I didn't believe I could do it but was really impressed with the result. The day was very relaxed and informal; the venue light and airy and all in all a very enjoyable day.

What a great course. I had tried some mosaicing before, but I learned so much about how to work out the design, how to cut and position the tiles, how to achieve a good finish. It was a great day and Giulia was super friendly - and an amazing artist. Thank you!

Giulia was very warm and welcoming. She provided clear instructions and was very patient encouraging us to make the best mosaic we could. There was a beautiful array of mosaic tiles on offer to choose from. Refreshments were available and Giulia kept us going with regular tea and coffee. Her studio is bright and cheerful with lots of stunning examples of her work. The time passed so quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and the company of Giulia and the other participant and highly recommend the one day direct method mosaic making course!

I was a complete beginner to mosaics and Giulia was a great teacher, patient and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed learning the technique and was very pleased with my finished piece. I also had a chance to see some of Giulia's own mosaic work and was much impressed! I would definitely recommend this class.

Me and my mum had a great day at Giulia's lovely studio! Giulia was very welcoming and knowledgable. All materials were laid out and ready to go and there was a great selection of tiles and colours to choose from. Everything was explained clearly and the time flew bye as we saw our work come together piece by piece.The best moment is right at the end, grouting done and you're cleaning the tiles, the whole thing comes to life and the colours pop!
