Me and my mum had a great day at Giulia's lovely studio! Giulia was very welcoming and knowledgable. All materials were laid out and ready to go and there was a great selection of tiles and colours to choose from. Everything was explained clearly and the time flew bye as we saw our work come together piece by piece. The best moment is right at the end, grouting done and you're cleaning the tiles, the whole thing comes to life and the colours pop! Thanks for a great day, we're very happy with what we made!

Giulia was a fantastic teacher and this course was absolutely brilliant. She very helpful and patient and I walked away with a beautiful mosaic that I was very proud to have made. I would 100% recommend this course!

Giulia is hugely knowledgable and experienced, a real expert in her field who is able to transmit her passion for the craft and the range of techniques clearly and with great enthusiasm. Her beautiful studio is well-equipped with everything you need to make your own piece of mosaic. Time really flew by as we drew out our designs, learned how to cut and arrange tiles and then mix concrete to assemble the final framed work. I particularly loved selecting the colours of beautiful tiles for my design, and seeing the 'big reveal' as the piece is refined and completed. Giulia is really encouraging and was on hand to help with the inevitable challenges that arise when learning new skills. I've always admired mosaic- from Roman to Victorian examples, so it was fascinating to hear about how they are made and gain insight into the skills of the mosaicist. I was extremely proud to bring home my finished work and explain all the techniques i had learned in just one day.

I had a great day at South London mosaic studio - I was really impressed with how much I had learnt in only 8 hours! Giulia was really supportive and encouraging in all stages of the course, and offered extra help when needed. The studio was well-equipped with the tools we needed to use to make our mosaic and the materials were of very high quality. Whilst we were cutting and laying out tiles, Giulia was telling us all about the origins of mosaic, different techniques and her personal work. Her knowledge and passion for mosaic is extensive and certainly made me want to continue learning more about the artform.

Fabulous course! I learnt so much about mosaics with Giulia who explained the techniques very well. The course covered drawing your design, how to cut the tesserae and how to grout. Giulia is a very talented mosaic artist and has inspired me to learn more about this art form. I really enjoyed it and can highly recommend this course.

Giulia was a lovely teacher and clearly very passionate about what she does which made the experience extremely enjoyable - the time flew by! I was impressed with her knowledge of mosaics and she explained the intricacies of the craft clearly. Despite being the only pupil that weekend she still ran the class regardless and was very accommodating, even staying late so that I had time to finish. Very happy with the course and the final product, would recommend to anyone interested!
