Alex is an incredible teacher - I have been in many different settings facilitating visual & performing arts activities, and she has a such a gift for creating a space that is both safe and challenging so that you find yourself trying and doing new things and going deeper into areas than you ever have before! Her manner is gentle and inspiring, always opening up new perspectives as she guides the session. I have learnt so much from attending her workshops, not only about techniques and materials but about myself and the creative process... a must for anyone wanting to grow in their creative journey! Her sessions are truly life-giving.

Alex is a wonderful teacher who is an excellent communicator. She helps you to develop self belief that anything is possible.
She is always well organised and welcoming and works with a variety of mediums.
She is very positive and helps to develop skills and creativity that are individual to each member of the group. I love art because of Alex.

Alex is great at inspiring even those of us who feel a bit shy at expressing themselves through art. In the end, I got so engrossed in what I was creating and was really pleased with what I made. But more than that, I felt it was a session where I learnt more about myself and what I was capable of, and had such fun in the process!
