What happens in this class?

An invitation to a day of creating an intuitive expressive abstract painting on a 100 x 100 cm deep edge canvas to gift or adorn the walls of your home.

Express yourself in our one day adult art workshop. This is your opportunity to let go and paint a large canvas with complete abandon and freedom. In this painting workshop we will take a look the work of abstract artists and create our own large abstract painting. You will let go of any preconceived ideas and relax into expressing yourself freely.

Alex is an excellent teacher with a varied range of creative ideas. Every session was different, so we covered lots of techniques and there was always a vast range of materials provided for us to use and express our creativity with. The sessions were incredibly well planned, and with such attention to detail. Alex really takes time with each student, and has clarity and insight in the way she teaches. After each class I couldn’t wait for the next one.
