Based on the ground-breaking research of Kirsten Neff and the clinical expertise of Christopher Germer MSC, this strand of Mindfulness teaches the core principles and practices that enable us to respond to difficult moments in our lives with greater understanding, purpose and positivity.
During the course you will learn about self-kindness and how it helps us to open our hearts to our suffering so we can learn to listen to ourselves more deeply and give ourselves what we need. It will also foster a sense of common humanity which opens us to our essential interrelatedness. In those moments when things feel difficult we know that we aren’t alone.
Mindfulness enables us to meet our experience with an attitude of compassionate allowing so we can accept our experience with greater ease.
