3. Cook Along Vietnamese Summer Rolls, Noodles and Dipping Sauces Cookery Course. Replay Available!
Having lived in Singapore and travelled, I have a passion for Vietnamese cuisine. It is so fresh and vibrant and colourful, which makes it one of my favourite cuisines to cook. I describe my style of cooking as ‘ish’. Which means I look to global cuisines, and using a handful of authentic ingredients, give local produce an exotic flair. So my recipes are a nod and a wink, a salutation if you will, to wonderful world cuisines. But with a real depth of knowledge and understanding of what makes that cuisine special. This is how I wrote my cookbooks: Delish and Relish BBQ. And it is how I enjoy cooking at home and entertaining friends. The chapters of my cookbooks are Mexican-ish, Thai-ish, French-ish and so on. This is a fun and exciting way to cook, while keeping it accessible and practical as you don’t need a long list of ingredients. I’m a wholefood chef, so I am a big fan of plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables where possible. Not just for health, but also for colour, texture and flavour. The dishes look gorgeous and so appealing. You don’t need any special food styling skills, the ingredients do all the work. How this course works: -A week before the class you will receive all your recipes and a timeplan. -Select the recipes that you would like to cook along to and purchase the ingredients. -On the day, do the prep and ‘mise en place’ in your timeplan to prepare for the class. -Cook along to the live class and ask questions along the way. Follow the instructions on how to store and reheat your food safely. Enjoy!

17. Summer Love Necklace Kit
Nothing says summer like a shell necklace, but not any kind of shell necklace, of course. This one you can make by yourself using delicate shell and glass mix beads in an off-white and gold chain combination gives the perfect summery feel no matter where you spend your holidays this year. This is an easy to intermediate project for an impressive result. You will learn how to combine glass and shell beads with metal spacer beads. Two rows of this three row necklace are made using tiger tail wire, so you will learn how to correctly finish the end of the wire and combine the ends to make a multi-row necklace. There is even a small amount of pinning and looping of beads, so this kit really covers a wide range of skills that will be useful in your jewellery making journey. Please note that to complete this kit you will need a basic set of pliers (round nose pliers, flat/chain nose pliers, and cutters). If you don’t have any please pop over to our website and on the Bead Shop Tools page, you can find a set of basic pliers starting at £12. *Please note, there may be minor variations in the contents compared to the images. Our kits are made in the UK so if we run out of any beads or parts we will substitute them with something very similar and within the same colour and theme. There will always be enough to complete your creation. Safety note: When you make your jewellery, there will be small discarded parts such as ends of metal pins, wire etc, that need to be disposed of carefully, especially if you have small children nearby.
