I found the class to be excellent, with an informative and knowledgeable teacher, and a small, interactive group. Regardless of your sewing expertise, you leave the class with a substantial amount of practical knowledge and samples to practice at home on your overlocker machine, whether old or new. It would be highly beneficial to have an additional class focused on mastering the usage of the overlocker machine (Part 2).

I was really glad I attended this intro to overlockers. I would recommend it to anyone before they purchase their own, to understand how they work, and what to look out for threading the overlocker seems a lot less daunting.

I wish there were more stars. What a great class. Rita explained everything clearly and patiently. I was using my own machine. Rita had taken time before the class to research information about the model. She had prepared fabrics on which we could practise. She took us through using the machine step by step. The last hour of the class involved making a little vest top, from pinning and cutting out the pattern to completion. If you want to learn about overlockers, this is the class for you. You won't get a better teacher and you won't regret signing up.
