This class is suitable for beginners and intermediates wanting to learn how to design, create and make beautiful nature inspired designs.
Your tutor will be Mandy from Posey & Pearls  who has many years of experience in jewellery design and teaching.

Lesson content

Design, make and learn how to construct your very own one-of-a-kind beautiful delicate piece of jewellery.
Learn about the different types of wire needed to create leaves and wire branches.
How to construct a leaf using Miyuki seed beads.
How to construct various sized branches using wire, pearls, beads and crystals.
Colour options of gold or silver wire and a huge selection of pearls, beads and crystals.
A choice of small hair combs, hair pins, broaches and earring components to complete your design.
A selection of finished pieces will be available on the day for you to take inspiration from in helping with your designs.
You will leave with a One-of-a-kind finished product and an organza bag to keep your item safe.

All materials are provided along with refreshments in a fun and relaxed workshop.

Wire wrapping- Leaves and trees

This is a great opportunity to learn how to use a tambour hook and make your own embroidery masterpiece.
Tambour work is a fascinating technique used for bead embroidery (also known as French embroidery beading) as well as decorative chain stitch embroidery.
During the 2 days course  we will cover:
how to set up a tambour embroidery hook
how to cast on and off basic stitch
how to add beading and sequin
how to prepare your design and adjust it on the fabric

The small workshop size ensures valuable one-to-one teacher and participant time, allowing maximum engagement and assistance.

The course is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced embroiderers. In order to keep the class focused on everyone’s personal needs, we are only taking on 5 students. All materials and equipment are supplied for the lessons.


Tambour Hook Haute Couture Embroidery

Join us for a creative and fun botanical themed jewellery making workshop, where you’ll make your very own wire modelled Monstera pendant necklace.

We’ll guide you through how to shape the wire into a monstera leaf shape using jewellery wire. You will also learn how to pin and loop beads to make a bead cluster to go on top of the pendant. There will be a selection of gorgeous beads to choose from so you can make something you really love, and we’re here to help you every step of the way. Enjoy an afternoon in a relaxing atmosphere getting creative and learning a new skill.

At the end of the workshop you will have your own unique necklace to take home.
