The class is hosted by Oliver Tebbutt and Charl Heynike in our London workshop, where we run our company: Dovedale design studio.

It is a workshop running over two days where you will learn the basics of woodworking and make your own small jewellery box to take home. We welcome total beginners as well as more experienced woodworkers, to come along, create something beautiful, eat lots of cake and make new friends.

Things to remember

This is the best woodworking class that Tom and I have been to. It's also the only jewellery box making class on Obby, and we found it much more interesting than spatula or spoon carving. The pace was relaxed and Ollie is an excellent instructor. He explained the why of every action before we did it, so you didn't feel like you were merely robotically following instructions, you were really involved in the process throughout. Thoroughly recommend.
