This weekly course is suitable to join whether you are a complete beginner or want to improve your skills! We will build your skills and confidence with a range of sewing projects, working towards dressmaking and creating beautifully fitting clothes that you will be proud to show off!

We will look at upcycling, fat quarter projects, inserting zips, button holes, dressmaking patterns, alterations, fittings and more!

Things to remember

All materials, tools and equipment are provided unless we are working on a dressmaking project, where you will need to purchase materials.

Since completing her degree in ‘Costume and Technical effects for the performing arts’ at London College of Fashion in 2001, Rachel worked freelance in the film and events industries for many years before taking a break to be at home with her three children whilst they were small.
