Make a Silver Ring Workshop with The Ringsmiths in London Bridge

Absolutely loved this course. I bought 2 tickets for a friend’s birthday and we had such a wholesome and wonderful time. The teachers are so kind, funny and informative and everything they showed us blew our tiny minds. The ring you get is gorgeous, we opted for extra engraving and gold plating so have up to three weeks to wait (not an issue, we were well informed of this). Really, really recommend this as a fun, relaxed and interesting way to spend a few hours with someone special.

The instructors, Juliette and Ros, were so kind and friendly and they explained every step very clearly. We both had such a great time and I’m very happy with how my ring turned out!! We booked onto the silver ring making workshop in the Tower Bridge shop and we found the whole experience absolutely amazing. From the second we walked in the door we were greeted so enthusiastically by Juliette and she impressed us more and more as the class went on. We were the only ones booked onto the class that morning (so we are so grateful that it still went ahead just for us) and this meant we had an even more in depth and intimate experience. The whole class from start to finish was so exciting getting to learn everything and Juliette was absolutely brilliant at explaining everything being so patient and keeping things exciting without being at all patronising - which I imagine can be hard when dealing with novices like us! We were so chuffed with the end result and really feel like Juliette went above and beyond the make sure they were absolutely perfect for us. Would highly recommend this experience to everyone and you're even luckier if you get Juliette showing you the ropes!

I attended the ‘make a silver ring’ workshop with my daughter and really enjoyed it. The instructors working with us were very friendly and gave very clear demonstrations and support through every step of the making process. Although I have experience of lots of different crafts, using a blow torch, welding and hammering metal seemed a bit daunting at first, but the supportive environment gave me confidence to have a go, and I was very pleased with the finished ring.

We loved doing this course - in two hours we had each made a beautiful ring from scratch. Juliette and Marny explained everything brilliantly and it was great fun.

It was the perfect birthday present activity to do with a loved one or an activity to do alone!

Incredibly fun morning. The process is very enjoyable but the workshop leaders really take the experience above and beyond. Felt very welcome and at ease immediately from being greeted, and from the very beginnings you feel you're 100% in the company of extremely experienced ring makers. Can't recommend this workshop enough.

The silver ring making course was incredible! The staff were very lovely and helpful and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. I made two small hammered rings which I left there the be gold plated and they are posting them to me. Overall a very lovely experience and would definitely go back!

We had an absolutely amazing time! My boyfriend and I went for our 8year anniversary to make rings for each other. The instructors we had, Juliette and Ross I think, were super friendly and entertaining, they guided us through every step with ease! I was not sure what to expect when it came to ring making but I throughly enjoyed the process. The host has kindly staged the venue with the seasonal theme which was Halloween at the time. She explained everything she was doing and generally made the day fun and interesting. I’d recommend this ring making class to friends and family

Can’t get over how good this class was! Ros and Maria were amazing and the class was so interactive and fun! Loved the bubbles at the end too. 10/10 experience. They also give you the option to create one wide ring or two stacking rings which is why I chose this class. Also optional extras of gold plating, rose gold plating etc.!

A great learning experience leading to a handsome piece of self-made jewelry. Ros is a great teacher, obviously practiced, and her assistant, Maria, was a real asset. Each took the time to respond to questions, help with technique, and troubleshoot when needed. The time flew past.

Really unique experience in the most gorgeous setting and lovely people, we had so much fun making our rings and are now obsessed with them, definitely recommend to go if you get the chance!

This is a fantastic hands-on introduction to ring-making, a fun and practical way to spend your afternoon learning about ring-making from the very beginning of the process to final product. The facilitators are very knowledgeable and friendly and guide you step by step to making your own personalised ring. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is crafty but wants to take on the challenge of working with metal.

This workshop is absolutely brilliant, I cannot recommend it more. Myself and my partner attended and had a great time, Ros was amazing, explained everything and we've both walked away with our own unique rings! We were walked through the whole process from wire to ring, it was all so interesting. We were in attendance with 3 other pairs which was the perfect amount of people to allow Ros to give everyone the help and attention they/we needed. A glass of bubbly went down a treat while we waited for the finished pieces to be treated. I recommend this a cute activity for a group of friends or for your other half (perhaps making engagement or similiar as it's an experience together).

My partner and I did this workshop and it exceeded any expectations that we had. It was a lot of fun, very interesting and rather soothing as well. At the end we also ended up with delightful rings, which was a bonus. We both love what we made very much. The guidance and instructions were super thorough and clear. The workshop space was very lovely as well. I cannot recommend this workshop enough! My partner and I will definitely come back for another one. Thank you very much!

A really special experience. We were fortunate enough to have a very intimidate one-on-one session so our teacher was very attentive. We will be returning to do the wax carving ring making session as it gives you the freedom to design any style of ring your heart desires.

A wonderful afternoon! I bought the gift for my boyfriend in celebration of our anniversary and he thoroughly enjoyed the class, as did I. Both the girls running the class were very informative, clear and supportive throughout the process of making the rings. By the end of the session we had made some beautiful rings for each other and will have lasting memories of the day and occasion. Would recommend to any couple.

Had an amazing time at the class with my girlfriend making the rings. Super fun and simple and had such a great time. We did it as a date activity and it was perfect with a few drinks and ice lolly’s after too. It does get a little hot during summer so beware but we had an amazing time!!!

Got this for my friend’s 30th birthday as a combination of an “experience” present a unique piece of jewellery as a keepsake. The workshop was super interesting and the team was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The process was really fun, and the final result is very satisfying! And now my friend and I have matching silver rings that we made together, and a cool story to tell. I highly recommend it!

Honestly such a good experience - they make it personal by only having 4 people to one helper and you get guidance every step of the way. Ended up with a couple of stacked rings. Really well done and looking forward to my next excuse to do another workshop 😊
