I super enjoyed the traditional lampshade making workshop with Claire and learned a lot from her in a super comfortable and slow paced environment. The patience, knowledge and super easy going nature of the trainer, Claire, was totally amazing. Claire got me involved in every stage of the process, even in the sewing machine part, which I was completely unfamiliar with - she was happy for me to try and and I was happy to be introduced into sewing. The workshop was a super experience in itself. I was concerned about the length but it turned out that we extended the workshop by almost an hour to get the lapmshade into an almost final stage. The workshop was super enjoyable and super relaxing for me. And glad to know this traditional lampshade making method now. Thanks a lot!

I have wanted to learn how to make pleated fabric lampshades for a good while, and was delighted to find such a great online course. It’s lovely to sit and stitch along with Lottie, the instructions are very clear and I am delighted with my new lampshade! The option of buying a kit with supplies is a great one, it gets you stitching quickly. I now know the next three that I would like to make, such a good skill to learn.
