Absolutely brilliant introduction to TIG welding. Dan is really knowledgeable, and explains everything clearly. Only having two people in the class means you get plenty of time to get your head around the actual physical act of welding. Not as easy as it looks, but I loved it! Highly recommended.

Dan is offering an amazing opportunity. If you've thought about trying Tig welding, then Dan offers a story informative, relaxed guidance, complete with full instruction. But best of all, you get to actually try welding. Dan gently walks you though the essentials and progresses you through to actually welding something together. All done with encouragement, explanation but without any pressure. It's the best £100 I've spent in a very long time.

Absolutely fantastic! Dan is an excellent teacher with a lot of patience, he took us through the fundamentals to all the way until we could weld something. He had safety in mind throughout the whole time and was able to expertly guide us through our mistakes and gave us many tips, based on any troubles that we were having.
I would highly recommend this class to anyone.

We would highly recommend this course. Dan was a fantastic teacher, with a well-considered series of exercises that develop the skills needed to produce a welded dice by the end of the session! He explains the process thoroughly and gave clear instruction. It was really enjoyable, and friends and family have been impressed with the result!

Dan was amazing!!! What he doesn't know about TIG is not worth knowing.... clear instruction and extremely well organised, it's amazing what was achieved in 3hours.

A great workshop led by a very kind, patient, and funny teacher. Dan took the time to reassure us two nervous novices and made sure we got out of the class exactly what we needed. Great fun, learnt a new skill and got to take our work home too. Really useful if you are in a trade, wanting to create art or just learn something new. Would highly recommend.

On Saturday, April 13th, I attended the welding lesson with Dan. The information and communication throughout were excellent. I was impressed by the workshop at first glance; I felt welcomed, the workshop was well equipped, well organised and very tidy. Dan, the facilitator, was very friendly and made me feel at home. The TIG welding class was well-structured and highly informative; Dan generously shared a wealth of information. He explained each step in theory, and afterwards, I was given ample time to practice. His kindness and encouragement left me feeling enthusiastic, and I departed the class with a solid foundation in TIG welding.

Fantastic session for a beginner. With no experience to start with I really got into it and Dan is a great teacher. Definitely a good place to start if you're looking for a decent intro to TIG welding.

Really enjoyed the class with Dan! The class is taught in a very small group (we were just 2) which allows lots of hands-on learning.
Since we were both absolute beginners, Dan explained the basics of TIG welding very well and let us try out every step that was explained before moving on to the next creating a great learning experience.
Towards the end we welded our own little project we could take home after the class.
I'd recommend this to everyone who's looking for a fun and informative introduction to TIG welding

I really enjoyed the introduction to TIG welding and would 100% recommend it. I did not know anything about TIG welding before the course, and learnt so much from Daniel who was very patient, encouraging and good at explaining - a brilliant teacher! Great introduction to TIG welding! Dan guides you through everything you need to know to enjoy a fully hands-on first TIG welding session. The atmosphere is supportive and relaxed. If you have been thinking about giving TIG a go, this course is the right one!

Absolutely loved learning TIG welding at Lions Den. In just one lesson I felt that I acquired the skills to give it a try on my own. And the idea of welding a dice at the end of the workshop is genius. It really looks stunning and makes you go home feeling very satisfied with your work! 💯 worth it!!!
