Candle Making Workshop & Bubbly

Charlie’s candle making workshop was the BEST activity for our hen group. It was fun, engaging, interesting and we just had the best time. Charlie is wonderful & it was lovely to be able to do this with her. Thank you so much! A perfect hen do activity

Me and mum had such a great time at the candle making workshop, Charlie was amazing, so knowledgeable and great fun! We made a lovely candle where there were a huge amount of different oils/smells to chose from, Some beautiful wax melts and a beeswax candle! Would definitely do it again, and 100% recommend to everyone xxx

Really appalled with the customer service of Obby. I booked this course back in November it had no location however I still booked it because it came up on my search for London classes. They did not share a location on there for a long time so I had no idea where I would be going until today I found out it was in Brighton! I sent emails to Obby to find out what was going on or some help from them I'm still waiting for a reply.

Such a brilliant afternoon making beautiful candles. The garden /studio was a perfect oasis and Charlie was amazing.

Thus us the 2nd time that I’ve attended this workshop and once again , such fun and an incredibly warming atmosphere created by the wonderful hostess , Charlie - highly recommend any of her courses .

This was a perfect start to a day out in Brighton with my 83 year old mum. We both loved it! The whole session was so relaxing, simple to do with clear instructions from Charlie and a lovely setting. Charlie was super friendly & easy going and we both loved heading home with our 3 types of candles. We learned loads and liked how Charlie very much focused on natural and sustainable products. We both feel inspired to try out own at home and I’ll definitely be spreading the word to my friends and loooking out for Charlie’s products on line. Thank you!

Prior to the course Charlie promptly responded to all my questions and was very understanding when I messed up the booking. At the start of the course, which was at my Mum’s house, she handed out chalk boards to write our names on. This meant she addressed us by our names which made it a lot more personalised. She also gave us a hand-out detailing what we needed to do. She was pleasant, polite, knowledgeable and patient throughout and ignored a bit of raucousness from the group! She said she took hen groups so was used to it! I just hope it didn’t get on her wick! 😂😂😂 She provided Prosecco which went down well ( literally! ) and answered all our questions. It was a great experience and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. I would perhaps suggest she gets a shopping style trolley for all her candle-making equipment and it may have been useful to have some examples of the candles we were going to make so we knew what the end result would look like. Thank you Charlie!

Charlie was very welcoming, the setting was great out in the garden. Charlie was fantastic at explaining step by step what we were doing and why. She answered my questions and was passionate about what she does. I found it a very informative and relaxed experience and would definitely return for another workshop and recommend her to my friends and family.

I thoroughly recommend the Christmas Candle Making workshop. There are a choice of over 70 scented oils & a good variety of miniature decorations. The mulled wine & filter coffee were appreciated. A perfect way to celebrate a birthday or hen party... Thank you Charlie.
