About your host, Candy's Ceramics
Candy’s pottery classes are taught within the eclectic Nightingales Emporium, located just opposite Hornsey station.
After finishing her degree in Ceramic Design at Central Saint Martins, Candy was keen to pass on her learnt skills to others. Around teaching, Candy also makes her own work which is focused on the female form and explores representing this in the medium of clay.
Candy has worked with a wide range of students from young children, people with learning disabilities, mature students and people living with dementia. Candy’s teaching style is tailored to the individuals needs, in a relaxed and friendly environment.
With both group sessions and one to one sessions available, you are sure to find a class to suit you.
Parties and workshops available, please contact if you have any inquiries!
Please wear clothing and shoes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty (clay will come out in the wash). Be aware that you will be asked to take all bracelets, watches and rings off before the start of the lesson. The pottery studio is up a (sturdy) wooden ladder so if you are unable to use stairs, please get in contact and we will do what we can do accommodate your needs. The studio is located inside Nightingales Emporium, right opposite Hornsey train station. Street parking is available.
