Receive one-to-one teaching in this small 5-week ceramic class at CWC ceramics, near Waterloo Station in London
This 5-weeek course covers everything from getting started with clay working, to finishing and decorating your pottery or sculpture. This is ideal for someone starting out in learning about pottery and clay. We will cover the three main handbuilding techniques; pinch pots, slab building and coil pots. Each class is 2 hours long. This is an excellent introduction to pottery and ceramics. Once you have learnt the techniques in the first 3 weeks you can then go on to create more independently with guidance from Camilla.

About your host, Camilla Webb Carter
After training at Camberwell Art School CWC Ceramics was formed in 2011. They have been creating ceramic wall installations for public and private collectors both nationally and internationally.
Camilla Webb Carter is the owner at CWC Ceramics, and she is well known for her work. She has begun offering ceramics workshops to the public and currently offers flexible bookings for one-to-one, couples and groups of four people to attend private and exclusive classes where she teaches students the basics of working with clay, including a range of moulding and decorating techniques.
From preparing the clay, to creating functional pottery or decorative sculptures, Camilla is the name in ceramics, therefore, her classes are popular and not to be missed!
All students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
